
Norine D. Kasinger Hans, 92, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born September 7, 1932 in Ohio County to the late James Gilbert Drace and Emma Wimsatt Drace. Norine was a graduate of Owensboro Technical High School. She worked at J.J. Newberry, General Electric, and Hallmark. She loved camping, traveling to other countries, cruises, dancing, playing with her grand kids, playing games on her iPad, and puzzles. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Crosspointe Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Cliff Kasinger; second husband, Wayne Hans; a brother, Billy Gene Drace, Sr., and twin great-grand daughters, Kathren and Addison Simmons.
She is survived by a son, Chuck Kasinger; three daughters, Kathy Simmons (Jimmy), Vicki Harrison (Les), and Kandy Barr (Robert); 9 grandchildren, Aaron Simmons (Hillary), Clint Simmons (Kristy), Jack Simmons, Camille Harrison, Cody Lingle (Scott), Grace Johnson (Tyler), Stephen Barr, Kaley Bean (Derek), and Lexie Owsley (Travis); 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Frank Hobgood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, January 27, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sorgho. Visitation is from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Monday at the funeral home.
