Hosting Union County, Trinity (Whitesville) held their own early, but fell down the stretch 81-60. Connor Hatfield had one of his best games of the season, hitting three threes to go along with his team-high 25 points. Will Hernadez finished second on the team in scoring with 12 points, while Hayden Aull added eight points.

“We had chances in this game,” Trinity (Whitesville) head coach Nathan West said. “We handled their 1-3-1 well but missed some open shots that would have put us up big. In the second half, they hit those shots and blew the game open. At times our youth shined through, as we would miss a rotation or make a small mistake, and more experienced teams are capitalizing on that. Connor Hatfield was fantastic tonight and Will Hernadez broke out of a shooting slump. We are making stride, but we just have to put a full four quarters together.”

On Monday the Raiders will travel to Owensboro for 7 pm tip off.
