Rolling Pin Pastry Shop will be closed for a few days in order to repair the primary dough mixer, the business announced on its Facebook page Saturday afternoon.
The pastry shop hopes to be open by Wednesday, according to the social media post. The full announcement reads as follows:
Due to an unfortunate mechanical issue with our primary dough mixer, we will need to be closed a few days while it’s repaired. We had it looked at by a service team and there is just no way to get the repair part here any quicker unfortunately.
We have had offers to mix the dough off site but that’s not the Rolling Pin way (thank you to those businesses who offered) ….We’ve also entertained making smaller mixes to get us by and stay open but we are too worried the results won’t be the exact same. We certainly know better than to mess with that!!
We hope to see you by Wednesday or before if all goes well.
