The intersection of JR Miller Boulevard and Salem Drive is inaccessible at this time after a semi truck struck a pole, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
There are no injuries but repairs will have to be made before the roadway will be open, officials said. There may also be temporary power outages in the area.
Drivers are asked to avoid this area and find an alternative route.
