Larry Gene Matlock, 77, of Lewisport passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Daviess County on January 21, 1947 to the late Eugene & Eva Matlock. Larry was a truck driver for over 55 years and was owner and operator for Mawson & Mawson Trucking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Deborah Matlock; siblings, David, Judy, Patsy, Robert, and Mark.
Survivors include his children; Nicki Easler, Jeff Matlock, and Andy Matlock; siblings, Sue Garrett, Alice Douglas, Janice Matlock, Ricky (Nancy) Matlock, and Eva (David) Payne; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:00-4:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
