Charlotte Ruth “Ruthie” Baisden, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on December 27, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1946, to the late Lonnie Skaggs and Annetta Jo Skaggs Fulkerson in Daviess County, KY.
Ruthie was a retired social worker for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, a Kentucky Colonel, and an avid UK Wildcats football and basketball fan. Her highest calling and greatest joy was being a mom.
Along with her parents, Ruthie is preceded in death by her siblings, Carol, Clarence, and Norman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Stephanie Baisden, Eric Baisden-Wade, and Shawn Wade. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Dalton and Taylor Baisden-Wade.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at a later date.
