UTICA – Shirley Troutman, 89, of Utica, Kentucky passed away December 26th, 2024 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky April 18th, 1935 to the late Beverly and Nell Henderson Wilson.
Shirley was an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family. She loved gardening and working side-by-side with her husband. She enjoyed music and dancing. Her greatest joy in life was her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Wilson, Dale Wilson, Wayne Wilson and Jerry Wilson; sister, Marian Atherton; and her daughter-in-law, Diana Troutman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Jake Troutman; son, Archie Troutman; brother, Bobby Joe Wilson of Owensboro; sister, Faye Love of Florida; grandchildren, C.J. (Christy) Troutman and Ashley Troutman; great-grandchildren, Lauren Troutman and Tyaun Troutman.
Services will be Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Larry Sosh officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
