In a back-and-forth game that went down to the wire, Ansley House’s 20 points and seven rebounds helped spur Hancock County to a 52-48 victory over Trinity. Carolina Jones filled the stat sheet, scoring 14 points and adding 10 assists, seven steals, and five rebounds. “This was a game of runs,” Hancock County head coach Kevin Husk said. “I’m really proud of our perseverance. “We played well in spurts, but also had times where we did not take care of the ball well,” Trinity head coach Emily Hernandez said. “We also had times where we did not rotate well defensively, so we will get in the gym tomorrow and make corrections.”
