William Leo Hagan, 83, of Ensor, KY, passed away on December 7, 2024, while under the care of the Heartford House. He was born on March 29, 1941. Mr. Hagan retired from WR Grace/Daramic and was also a farmer. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as tinkering and building stuff, with little to no materials or budget.
Mr. Hagan was proceeded in death by his parents, Simeon Emmanuel Hagan and Alberta Shellman Hagan; three brothers, Bernard Lewis Hagan, Joseph R. Hagan and Charlie Hagan; and a granddaughter, Erica Hagan.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Charlene Hagan; his children, Chris Hagan (Son), Charity Hagan Keller (Daughter), Charles “Chuck” Hagan (Son), and Cher Anne Hagan McCubbins (Daughter); as well as 8 grandchildren and 16 grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Lucille Mattingly of Whitesville, Theresa Johnson of Hobart, IN, Margaret Rose DeLacey of Owensboro, and Mary Anne Wright of Whitesville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday December 13, 2024 at St. Williams Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Williams Cemetery. Visitation is from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, with prayers at 7:00 pm and after 8:30 am on Friday at Cecil Funeral Home.
