Barbara B. Magan, 80, of Owensboro, passed away on December 6, 2024. She was born in Owensboro on December 20, 1943, to the late John and Mary Hayden Blandford. Barbara was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed working puzzles, reading, and going to the casino but her true enjoyment came from spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her first husband Donald Barnett; her second husband Danny Magan; her siblings Kenneth Blandford, Peggy Roberts, Alice Devine, Shirley Merimee, Gary Blandford, and George Blandford.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Teddy (Vicki) Barnett, Denny (Kim) Barnett, and Mary Sue (Lewis) Boteler; her grandchildren Chelsea Harper, Hillary Barnett, Madeline Barnett, Joseph Boteler and Dalton Barnett; 6 great-grandchildren and her siblings Nancy Lewis and Randall Blandford.
Funeral services will be held at noon on December 12, 2024, at St. Mary Magdelene Catholic Church, with Father Terry Devine officiating. Burial to follow at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
