It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank William Applebee, who entered into rest on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the age of 50. Frank was born on February 10, 1974 in California and was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Frank will be remembered for his hard work, his laughter and the love he had for his family and friends. He possessed a quiet strength and a generous spirit that touched those who knew him well.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Larry Applebee.
He is survived by his loving mother, Claudia Applebee; daughter, Samantha Applebee; granddaughter, Ivy Payne; sisters, Rowena Thomas and Gwen Cameron; brother, Richard Cameron; brother-in-law, Sean Thomas; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Following cremation, a memorial service to honor Frank’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Cecil Funeral Home, Whitesville. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. A private burial of the ashes will be held at a later date.
