Mr. Otis J. Miller, Jr (92), the son of the late Wilmer Otis Miller and the late Tessie Beatrice Arnold Miller was born November 19, 1931, in Edmonson County, Kentucky. He passed away peacefully November 11, 2024, at the Gallatin Center Rehabilitation and Healing Facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. He attended schools in Edmonson County, Tennessee until the 8th grade when he started his working life. At age 15 he joined the United States Marine Corps during World War II, serving 2 years. After his Honorable Discharge, he worked as a plumber achieving the status of Master Plumber in several states.
On March 7, 1965, in Gainesboro, Tennessee, he married Lucille A. Ambs. They shared a loving marriage until her death on May 22, 2011. He is survived by their daughter, Judy Arnold, and son, David Miller, both of Tennessee. His brother Joe (Rhoda) Miller of South Carolina, a nephew, David Miller (Christina) of South Carolina, a niece, Nila (Joe Earl) Myers of Kentucky, and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Ruby Lee Kirby, Delphine Mae Hagan, and Helen Roseann Beasley. All were residents of Kentucky.
He will be interred with his wife in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro, Kentucky. There will be no funeral.
