Rita Mae Christian, 93, of Owensboro, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born, on August 20, 1931, to parents Frank and Pearl (Marsch) Heady.
Rita worked as a Registered Nurse and homemaker who loved to read. She was a wonderful cook who loved animals and cherished spending time with her family.
Including her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Christian, and her five sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda (David) Cecil, Carol (Wayne) Moser, Pam Brasher, Pat Christian, Donna (Steve) Rohrer, and Sanki (Steve) Lutgring, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her niece, Alana Borges.
Private family service will take place at a later date, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
