Ollie Lee (Green) Hagan, 100, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Owensboro, Kentucky, under the care of Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born in Daviess County, on October 4, 1924, to the late Herman and Mary (Yeckering) Green.
Mrs. Hagan enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and word search books, but what she valued most was spending time with her family and raising her children.
In addition to her parents, Ollie is preceded in death by her husband, James William Hagan, Sr., her son, James W. Hagan, Jr., her siblings, Henry Green, Herbert Green, Joe Green, and Margaret Hutchinson, and her sons-in-law, Barry Clark and Bill Saddler.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Linda Avery, Bonnie Clark, Velma Reed (Mike), Kenneth Hagan (Roberta), Christina Nabours (Tim), and Kimberly Barnett (Mark), and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a beloved great-great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
Mass of a Christian Burial/Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at St Pius Tenth, with Fr John Paul Mang officiating. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory.
