Dorothy “Dot” Marie Stillwell Burnette, age 90 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away October 29, 2024 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Breckinridge County on October 22, 1934, daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Hanks Stillwell. She and her late husband Harold were married November 1, 1952 and married for 60 years.
Dot, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was a homemaker, who enjoyed music, fashion, jewelry and decorating her home for all occasions. Harold served in the United States Air Force and they traveled to many places. She was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church. Dot loved the Lord, her family and her friends, and her kindness touched many. She was loved by her family and will be missed by those she shared her life with.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings Pauline Ford, Elizabeth Robinson, Charles Stillwell, Clara Clark, Mary Z. Voyles and Velma Stillwell.
Dot is survived many nieces, nephews and their families.
A private graveside service will be held at Glen Dean Cemetery.
