Gary Hagan, 61, of Owensboro passed away on October 16, 2024. He was born on January 23, 1963, to the late Robert Hagan and Louise Winstead Webb. Gary worked for over forty years, as a Patient Transporter, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
Gary was a deeply beloved father, brother, and friend. His passing was sudden and unexpected but quick, just like he always hoped it would be. He valued hard work, honesty, and the value of a man’s word. While we lost our dad, many lost a friend and a loved one in him. Gary loved hunting, fishing, playing Bingo, and attending local high school football and basketball games.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his sister, Gwendolyn Lorraine Clack.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Marly (Harry) Maldonado and Gary (Jenn) Johnson, his grandchildren, Jak Maldonado, Benicio Maldonado, Darren Johnson, and Nora Maldonado, and his siblings, Anthony Hagan (Toni), Maceline Webb, Anthony Webb, Elaine Hagan, Maralin Hagan.
Friends and family are invited to visitation at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A celebration of Mr. Hagan’s life, hosted by his family, will commence at 2:30 p.m. during visitation.
