John Lyndal Neal passed away peacefully at Owensboro Medical Hospital October 9, 2024. He was born April 26, 1965 to Gary Sr. and Esther Sharon Taylor Neal. He was a carpenter and enjoyed remodeling or fixing things. He enjoyed fishing, camping, motorcycles, and hanging out with his grandson Zach. John was preceded in death by his father Gary Neal Sr. (1989); sister Pam Neal Dillingham (2000), and three Brothers Stevie (2012), Gary Jay Jr(2015), and Chad(2022) Neal, and former wife, Patricia Payne Neal (2017) of Owensboro and his sister’s fiance, Clint Bevins (2021) Rockport, IN.
John is survived by his mother, Sharon Neal; children, John J. Neal, and his three song, Zachary Neal, Ryan Smiley and Skyler Neal, of Owensboro, KY; daughter, Shawna Rivas (James Padilla) and their three daughters, Olivia Nicole, Nevaeh Rose, Vivian Grace, all of Evansville, IN; and Kaitlyn Bailey Elliott of Owensboro; ssister, Michelle Neal Duffy, of Rockport, IN; two step-sons Jason Payne and Ben Payne of Owensboro and his cat Shredder.
The funeral service will 2:00 PM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 12:00 PM with Bro. Paul Gatewood officiating. Burial to follow at Greenbrier Baptist in Utica, Kentucky
