Sharon Williams 74, of Island, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Sharon Elaine Crowe was born August 9, 1950 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Harley and Opal Heath Crowe and was married to Roger Dale Williams on August 30, 1975. Sharon lived a life rich with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community. She was a beacon of warmth and affection, a person whose presence could light up any room.

Professionally, Sharon was a dedicated title clerk at B.F. Evans Ford in Livermore, where she served the community for over 20 years. Her colleagues knew her as a steadfast and reliable presence, someone who brought not just her skills but also her heart to her work every day. Sharon’s retirement was celebrated by all who knew her as a well-deserved respite after years of service.

Sharon was a person of many passions and took pleasure in the simple joys of life. She found solace in the beauty of nature, watching birds, and caring for her plants and flowers. These hobbies were more than just pastimes; they were a reflection of her nurturing spirit and her ability to find beauty in the everyday.

A member of the Livermore General Baptist Church, Sharon’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She lived her beliefs through acts of kindness and her commitment to her family and friends. Her community and church family will remember her as a woman of faith who lived her life as a testament to the values she held dear.

Sharon’s life was a well-lived journey marked by her devotion to family, a career characterized by integrity, and a personal life filled with the joys of the natural world she so loved. Her spirit, a blend of strength, compassion, and grace, will continue to inspire those who knew her, both now and in the many years to come.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Roger D. Williams, who died December 1, 2018.

Sharon is survived by a son, Ryan Williams (Mackenzie) of Central City; two daughters, Julie Moss (Jarrod) and Lea Hendricks (Tim) both of Owensboro; and seven grandchildren, Ansley Hendricks, Gunnar Hendricks, Heidi Williams, Holden Williams, Keelan Williams, Journey Williams, and Kaesyn Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Burial will be in the Island Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Sharon’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Musters in Livermore.
