Allen Ray Johnson, age 75, passed away on October 16, 2024 with his family and the loving care of Hospice of Western KY in Owensboro, KY.
He retired from Logan Aluminum and spent his well-deserved retirement with his grandkids and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats. He was a member of Newton Springs Baptist Church and relied heavily on his faith.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Earl B and Mildred Johnson, and son Scott Allen Johnson.
Allen is survived by his children Holly (Don) Smallwood, Nathan (Christine) Johnson, Ethan (Nikki) Johnson, and Courtney Johnson; grandchildren Trey Smallwood, Liberty Smallwood, Karlei Johnson, Carter Kimmel, Collins Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Konner Johnson, Ellington Johnson, Scarlett Johnson, and Karcen Johnson; stepdaughter Brittany Buster and step-grandchildren Brycen and Jamycen.
Allen was a devoted father, brother and Poopaw. He was the best encourager and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville. Visitation will be Saturday, October 19th from 4pm to 8pm and Sunday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.gearycares.com.
