Erica Anne Kostin, 40, passed away on October 16, 2024, in Owensboro, KY. She was born on February 16, 1984, to Lisa Vanover and Jerry Farmer. Erica worked in the afterschool program at Daviess County Public Schools.
Erica loved sports, especially watching her boys play ball, and enjoyed spending quality time with her nieces and nephews.
Erica is preceded in death by her Memaws, Rebecca Frantz and Wilma Farmer, and her Pepaw, James Frantz.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Matthew Johnson, Dylan Cook, and Nathan Vanover; her parents, Lisa Vanover and Jerry (Teresa) Farmer; her siblings, Heather (Dustin) Browning, Shae Thompson, Chad Vanover, Felecia Farmer, Jerry Farmer, Jr., and Lily Farmer; and several cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to visitation at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Jake Leach will be leading the celebration of Erica’s life at 5:30 p.m.
