Hadley Marie Burden Rafferty

Hadley Marie Burden Rafferty entered Heaven on Friday, April 26, 2019. She was born on February 19, 1982. Stuart, her infant son, preceded her to Heaven. Loved ones who will miss Hadley until they meet again on the streets of gold are her loving parents, Bill and Lynn Burden; her precious children, Andrew, Faith and McKenna; her fiancé Chad Ayer and his children, Dylan, Adylan, and Aydan; her brothers, Josh Brood (Shelley), Troy Burden (Jesse); her sisters, Lisa Mills (Jeff), Beverly Boarman (Doug), Theresa Richeson, Dorita Clark (Gerry); many nieces and nephews; and special friends Russell, Kristen, Gracie, and Brilie Lawson.

Hadley was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. She studied at the University of the Cumberlands, and Kentucky Wesleyan College. She worked at Growing Minds, where she helped children with special needs. This was Hadley’s passion and joy. Hadley was a wonderful daughter, mother, and sister; an incredible cook, a strong, faithful friend and a loving servant who put others and their needs above her own. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

We will gather to remember and celebrate her life at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29th at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. A time to visit her family will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
