Despite having 11 shots, five of which were on goal, the Owensboro Catholic boys’ soccer team could not capitalize on their opportunities and fell to Ohio County 1-0.
Ohio County also had 11 shots with three of them on goal. Aces goalie Ben Dawson finished with two saves.
“It feels like that one got away,” Owensboro Catholic head coach Andy Donohoe said. “We created some great chances and played well. It’s a disappointing result with the quality of chances we created. We have to take it on the chin and move forward with the lessons from it on the next game.”
