Fueled by Karleigh Brown’s hat trick, the Lady Red Devils cruised to a 7-0 win over McLean County.
The game was called at halftime due to the heat. Amelia Calhoun, Lily Nieman, Lily Paige Early, Amelia Calhoun, and Hailey Westerfield found the back of the net. Ella Hall and Early finished with two assists, while Calhoun and Nieman each added a helper.
“We played strategically, possessing and connecting passes for pretty plays into the box,” Owensboro head coach Sarah Poole said.
