Owensboro Catholic stormed back to stun Ohio County, while McLean County came up short in Monday’s volleyball action.

Down two sets to none, the Lady Aces remained unfazed and battled back to reverse sweep Ohio County 3-2 (25-27, 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 15-9). Olivia Castlen led the way, finishing with a team-high 18 kills, and added 14 digs and five service aces. Reese Keller led the team in assists with 30, while Mayme Powell added 27. Tyranda Stuart recorded 19 digs, 14 kills, and six service aces, while Jaiden Grant added 13 kills, eight service aces, and an assist.
Muhlenberg County 3, McLean County 0
Rachel Roberts finished with nine digs, four kills, and three blocks, while Abbi Sivers recorded 11 digs and six assists. Alicia Bartolon added 15 digs.
“The Lady Cougars fought hard and improved every set,” McLean County head coach Traci Capps said.
