OPD: Individual arrested after shots fired

Tabatha Carter, 37, of Owensboro, was arrested Monday and is facing two charges related to a firearm discharge call, the Owensboro Police Department reports.

According to OPD, they were dispatched to Arizona Court after a firearm had been discharged. Witnesses informed patrol officers about a verbal argument between a man and an armed woman.

OPD reported they made a traffic stop on the suspects as they were leaving the area. Due to the information provided, OPD conducted an investigation.

Tabatha Carter, 37, of Owensboro, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Wanton Endangerment – 1st Degree
  • Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon

Carter is currently being held at Daviess County Detention Center.
