Kentucky Wesleyan College Online has announced a 20% tuition discount for local first responders.

The offer is extended to the Owensboro Police Department, Daviess County Sherrif’s Office, Daviess County Fire Department, Owensboro Fire Department, AMR, and Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch telecommunications.

“Kentucky Wesleyan strives to continuously respond to the increasing demand for flexible and convenient learning by offering online degrees and minors readily applicable in the marketplace,” a release from KWC reads. “Designed for learners on the fast track to success, Kentucky Wesleyan’s 7-week course format allows students to graduate quickly and take classes from anywhere at any hour.”

As an online student living in Owensboro, participants have access to campus facilities (i.e. The Greenwell Library and Learning Center, Student Success Center, academic support services including tutoring, etc.), on-campus faculty, and staff to support their educational journey.

“We are so grateful for the dedication and service of our community’s first responders,” said KWC director of online learning Lindsey Crowe. “We want our local heroes to experience The Wesleyan Way. As they serve our community, we in turn want to serve their education needs in the most supportive and flexible ways possible.”

Those interested in admission to the online program can contact Crowe at [email protected] or visit kwc.edu/online.
