Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU) will be conducting maintenance work in the Kendall-Perkins Park area on Wednesday. The spray park, bathrooms, and water fountains at Kendall-Perkins Park will be closed through Thursday.
The water supply in the area will be shut off from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and a 24-hour boil advisory will be in effect following the water shutoff, extending the closure of these facilities through Thursday.
Signs will be posted in the park to remind visitors of this temporary closure and advisory.
