SACRAMENTO – Shirley Ann Reynolds, 79, of Sacramento, died Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation in Calhoun. Ms. Reynolds was born February 26, 1945 in McLean County. She worked as a Lunchroom Cook for Sacramento Elementary School and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids, and great-grandkids, gardening, her church family, camping, and sitting out on her deck. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Reynolds; parents, Rufus and Estelle Shanks; brother, Bob Shanks; and sister, Helen Hicklin.
She is survived by her daughter, LaDonna Rickard of Sacramento; son, DeWayne (Susie) Reynolds of Island; grandchildren, Kadi (Kyle) Burden, Hannah Reynolds, Daniel (Taylor) Rickard, and Elliot (Rachel) Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Karolina, and Salem; sister, Anna Jean Todd; and brother, David Paul Shanks.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 9, 2024 at 12PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM -12PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
