CENTRAL CITY – Daniel Jarrod Merlin, 48, of Central City, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 12:50PM in Morgantown. Mr. Merlin was born December 3, 1975, in Hopkins County. He was a construction worker, a handyman, and previously owned Computer Magic in Central City. One of his favorite past times was flying his drone. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel B. Merlin; and grandparents, Patricia and Keneth Iverson, and Rosalie Kinkade.
He is survived by his sons, Jarrod Merlin and Daniel Joseph Merlin-Groce; mother, Linda (David) Horne; sister, Lindsay (Eduardo) Rosillo; and grandfather, James C. Kinkade.
Memorial services will be Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Tim Adcock officiating. Visitation will be Friday after 9:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
