Wanda Hawes, 81, of Cromwell, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 1, 2024. Wanda was a devoted homemaker, beloved wife of 65 years, and loving mother of three boys. Wanda is preceded in death by her father, Claudis Igleheart, mother, Carrie Baggerly Igleheart, sister, Anna Marie Schroader, brother, Alfred Igleheart, and two great-grandchildren, Kanaan Drake Hawes, and Sunnie Rain Hawes.
Surviving her in love to cherish her memory are her husband, Billy Gene Hawes of Cromwell, her three sons, Ricky (Robin) Hawes of Beaver Dam, Greg (Kim) Hawes of Beaver Dam, and Jeff (Tammy) Hawes of Cromwell, her brother, William (Brenda) Igleheart of Elizabethtown, her sister, Susie Hedgespeth of Lousiville, eight grandchildren, Richard (Stephanie) Hawes, Regina (Jake) Allen, Allen (Kammie) Hawes, Billy (Kristen) Hawes, Talon (Trey) Smith, Katlynn (Zachary) Almendarez, Jacob (Kat) Bennett, and Jeremy Tyler Bennett, and thirteen great-grandchildren, Levi Allen, Carson Allen, Brody Hawes, Kolton Hawes, Kaylor Hawes, Hadley Hawes, Charli Smith, Tripp Smith, Laken Smith, Greyson Bennett, Lawson Bennett, Ellie Bennett, and Ryker Bennett as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam Kentucky, with Bro. Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Spring Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit Mrs. Hawes’ family from 10AM until the time of service, Sunday at the funeral home.
