Barbara “Bobbi” Reisz Brown, 89, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care in Louisville. She was born on July 15, 1934 in Owensboro. Bobbi was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Catholic Church.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Donald Brown, Sr.; her parents, Albert C. and Ruth Tong Reisz; and siblings, Ed Reisz, Ann Bittel, Teresa Keller, Dorothy Wethington, Ruth Hayden, Mildred Mischel, and Patty Riney.
She is survived by her children, Donna West (Tim) of Owensboro, Stacie Longstaff (Chris) of Louisville, James D. Brown, Jr. (Cheryl) of Owensboro, Scott Brown (Geoffrey Dillon), John Brown (Tracy), Chris Brown (Todd Rapier) and Heather Brown all of Louisville; grandchildren, Ryan West (Brandi) of Louisville, Brittany Howard (Andrew) of Owensboro, Lindsey Brown and Alexa Longstaff both of Louisville, Emily Brown of Owensboro, Jordan Longstaff (Jackie) of Houston, TX, Reed Brown of Asheville, NC and Logan Brown of Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren, Breeleigh and Zia West and Kensington and Kollinsworth Howard; and sisters, Mitzi Reid of Owensboro and Judy Burk (Duvall) of Shelbyville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Immaculate Catholic Church in Owensboro officiated by Father Tony Jones. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at Immaculate Catholic Church. James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro, KY is in charge of arrangements.
