Wilma Christine (Slack) McKee, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at home with her family by her side. She was born September 18, 1939, in Cool Springs, Kentucky to the late Lenard Slack and Beatrice Williams Slack. Mrs. McKee retired from National Linen Service after fifty years of service and was a member or Rockford Lane Baptist Church in Louisville.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Polston and niece, Penny Polston.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Steven (Penny) Polston of Louisville and Randall (Tracy) Burgess of Richmond; grandchildren, Randall (Cristy) Burgess, Jr., Jonathan Polston, and Aaron (Nikki) Beams and great grandchildren, Phoenix, Shelby, Riley, Kennedy, and Harper.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Bob Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mrs. McKee’s family from 4 – 8 PM Monday and from 9 AM until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
