Owensboro’s next doughnut shop is expected to open this July. Parlor Doughnuts, known for their “layered doughnuts” and range of toppings, will be located in Heartland Crossing off KY 54.
Franchisee Michael Crawley said that construction on the space has gone slower than expected and he doesn’t have a specific opening date just yet.
“We plan to open up sometime in July. I don’t have that date right now, but we will be open in July,” Crawley said.
The location at 2867 Heartland Crossing Boulevard — which is the northernmost suite of the newest building anchored at the other end by Firehouse Subs — is expected to have a drive-thru, according to Crawley.
Parlor is a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering various unique bakery items, including their original layered doughnuts. The menu includes vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products and artisanal breakfasts.
The Parlor describes its layered doughnuts as a “proprietary product with layers of buttery dough fried to be crisp outside and light/fluffy on the inside. A wide range of toppings are available.”
