If you’re looking for the right floral addition to an upcoming event, Baylee Hall’s new business, Flower Walls OBKY, may have the setup for the party.
The business lets customers rent faux walls adorned with flowers in different colors to set up as backdrops for photos or to simply add as extra decor for an event. The walls come in different sizes and colors.
Hall said she opened the business to provide something different than a traditional backdrop for photos and events.
“I just absolutely love flower walls. It’s prettier than just a solid pink background. I just felt like it pops out more and is more attractive,” Hall said.
Hall noted that she saw the business model succeeding in other cities, and she wanted to provide Owensboro with the same service.
“There are not very many flower walls available in Owensboro or around here that I saw. There’s a white one at a couple of places and a green grass wall, but when it comes to all the variety of ones that I can get, none of those are available anywhere around here,” Hall said.
The business also has a photo booth setup that will allow guests to take their own pictures in front of the wall backdrop. Hall said she tries to make the rentals affordable for customers by offering bundles for the photo booth setup and walls.
Hall said the walls make great additions to baby showers, birthday parties, or any gathering where people would use a backdrop instead of a typical wall.
To help make renting more affordable, Hall plans to have monthly deals for bundles.
