Wanda Mae Bradberry, 95, of Utica, KY passed away on May 17, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on March 31, 1929 in Carlisle County, KY to the late Cloice and Neola Washburn Webb. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ. Wanda served as Deputy with the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department in the mid to late 1960’s and retired from the Daviess County School System. She was appointed to Kentucky Commission on Women. She served on the Board of Right to Life of Owensboro. She also served on the Kentucky Right to Life Board and Kentucky Right to Life Educational Foundation Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Bradberry, on August 13, 2000.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lois Gayle Bradberry Brown (Newman) and Elizabeth Ann Bradberry Leonard (David); seven grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at funeral home.
