Apollo took advantage of the clear weather and traveled to Ohio County where they had a comfortable 8-2 win. The Eagles kept their run of good form going with this win as they have now won 15 of their last 17 games. 

Apollo scored 1 run in the opening inning to take an early lead. After a scoreless second inning, AHS jumped out ahead with a 6-run performance in the third inning. Ohio scored 2 runs in the bottom of the inning to put the score at 7-2. Apollo scored their final run in the fifth inning and held Ohio scoreless to close out the 8-2 win. 

On the mound for the Eagles was Grayson Smith who had 5 strikeouts and allowed 3 hits across 5 innings, Ross Milburn who pitched for 1 inning, and Jackson Carder who had 1 strikeout in 1 inning. At the plate, Sam Holder had 2 RBIs and scored 1 run. Milburn had an RBI and scored 2 runs, Easton Blandford hit a double, had 1 RBI and scored 1 run. Smith had 1 RBI and 1 scored run, and Ty Lillpop and Michael Chaney both had 1 RBI. Will Strode and Lane Skinner both scored 1 run as well.
