Carroll Keith Stites, 68, of Maceo, passed away at Owensboro Health on Monday, May 6, 2024. Keith was born in Whitesville on April 12, 1956 to the late Leslie “Les” and Eva Isom Stites. He was the warehouse manager at Mudd’s Furniture for 33 years. Keith enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Stites and a sister, Joyce Askins.
Keith is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Henderson Stites, a son, Jason (Kate) Stites; grandchildren Jaren Stites and Kaleb Gibson and siblings Darrell Stites, Patsy (Guy) Bennett and Mildred (Buddy) Bruner.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Old Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, May 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to the time of service at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville Kentucky.
