Owensboro Catholic was the only team to see action today as they took to the road to play against Meade County. The Lady Aces were narrowly defeated 2-1 and now sit 14-11 on the season.

Catholic scored their first and only run in the opening inning of the game. Catholic held onto this lead for 6 innings with tight defense. That defense started with Hannah Robbins who recorded 3 strikeouts and allowed 5 hits across 6.1 innings. OCHS struggled to add to their lead in this time which led to an unfavorable end to the game for the Lady Aces. In the final inning Meade County scored 2 runs to steal the game at 2-1. At the plate, Tyranda Stuart had 1 RBI and scored the team’s run. Stuart had 2 hits along with Ruth Jones who had 2 as well.
