Joseph Michael “Mickey” Jones, 77, of Owensboro passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Mickey was born on November 19, 1946 in Daviess County, to the late Joseph H and Marjorie A Musgrave Jones. He retired from Logan Aluminum and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters local 633. Mickey enjoyed woodworking, fishing and working with computers.
In addition to his parents, Mickey is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard and Kenny Jones.
Mickey is survived by his wife, M. Jadon Jones, 2 sons, Wayne (Lisa) Jones and Keith Jones, a sister, Rebecca Stewart and step-children, Tony (Robin) Overby, Jeff (Angie) Overby, Teresa (David) Anglin and Mary (Jeff) Martin, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be private; Cecil Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
