BEAVER DAM-Ronald Barrow, 73, of Beaver Dam died Thursday, April 18, 2024 at OHRH in Owensboro. Ron was born in Cool Springs to the late Curdis and Mary Kathryn Thienes Barrow. Ron was a retired underground coal miner having worked for Peabody Coal, Pyro Coal and Sextet Coal. He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars. Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Ann Burden Barrow and a brother Jervis Lee Barrow.
Ron leaves behind his companion of 10 years, Sharon Joines; 2 sons-Joel(Heather) Barrow and Jarrod(Rachelle) Barrow; 3 grandchildren-Landon, Ethan and Claire Barrow; 2 brothers-Terry Barrow and Marvin Barrow; 1 sister- Sandy Barrow Vincent.
Services will be 3:00PM Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Christopher Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM-3PM Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
