Kenneth “Wayne” Henry, 73, of Owensboro passed away on April 5, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1950, in Owensboro to Hewitt Edward and Margie Bell Henry. Wayne was a proud United States Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam war. He loved his country and flew the flag proudly. He was a kindhearted man who was always willing to help someone in need.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Hewitt and Margie, and his brother, Darrell E. Henry.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Adrian Blanford; siblings, Gary Henry, and Jerry (Connie) Henry; as well as his friend, Steve Hobbs, who was like a brother to him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Care entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
