Scottie “Bartman” McFadden, 59, of Owensboro, passed away Monday April 15, 2024, at the Heartford House while under the care of Hospice and Palliative care of Western Kentucky. He was born September 18, 1964, in Owensboro, to the late James W. “Sweets” McFadden and Revel Gustene “Blondie” Felty Mcfadden. Bartman proudly served in the United States Army during the conflict in Iraq, Operation Free Kuwait, and Operation Desert Storm. He worked as a bricklayer for Mastercraft Masonry and was a farm manager for South River Ranch in Stanley, KY.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Ernie Flener Felty and Jesse “Willy” and Myrtle “Mertie” Ridgeway McFadden; a brother, Jody “Fuzzy the Man” McFadden; and several aunts and uncles.
Bartman is survived by his sisters, Darlene “Susie” Lewis and Christy Sparks; his brothers, Joel “Scrap” Mcfadden, Kent “Weasel” McFadden, Jesse “Monk” McFadden, and Tim “Colonel” McFadden; two aunts, Corene Phelps and Dotty McFadden; an uncle, Royce Felty; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
At his request, there will be no services for Scottie. Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
