
Nellie May Lancaster Lindsey, 89, of Owensboro, passed away on April 9, 2024, at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 2, 1934, in Maceo, Kentucky to the late William David and Annie Aubrey Lancaster.
Nellie attended Pleasant Valley Community Church. She enjoyed watching Kentucky basketball, playing BINGO, and shopping, especially on QVC. Nellie was sassy, fun, and loved with everything she had.
Along with her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Lindsey; son, Richard Clark; sister, Pauline Reed; and brother, William Lancaster.
Nellie is survived by her children, Steven David Clark and Kathleen (Tommy) Lindsey; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bertha Brown, Mildred Miller, and Patsy (Larry) Logsdon.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
