Jeffery L. Campbell, 59, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully at the Heartford House. He was born April 5, 1965 in Daviess County to the late Benjamin Franklin Campbell, Jr. and Carolyn Sue Hall Campbell. Jeffery loved to fish, going to watch dirt races at Windy Hollow, and also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, betting on the horses at Ellis Park and the Casino, and working on bikes and scooters.
Jeff was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Ethel Campbell and a sister, April Davis
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Thelma Campbell; his three children, Tina Davis Embry (Ivan), Brad Davis, and Chad Davis, all of Owensboro; eight grandchildren (one he raised as his own), Steven Davis, Kelsey Roberts, Aquaris Washington (Roy), Adonis Washington (Kendra), Tyrus Acton, Bradlyn Davis, Christian Davis, and Brooklyn Davis; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; four sisters, Melody Isbill (Robert), Karen Crowe (Robert), Paige Roby (John), and Keishie McDaniel; and a brother, Scott Campbell. Jeff’s caregivers were Tina Davis Embry and Melody Isbill.
Funeral services for Jeff will be 2 PM Saturday, April 13, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 7 PM Friday and from Noon until the time of the service Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
