Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic continued play in the Florida Softball Beach Bash with the Lady Aces picking up a win and the Lady Red Devils falling to North Laurel.
North Laurel 15, OHS 4
Owensboro had a tough 15-4 defeat against North Laurel. Railey Scott and Alyssa Rhineburger pitched for the Lady Red Devils and combined for 3 strikeouts across 4 innings. At the plate, Rhineburger, Hayley Sikes, Emily Hayden and Hessi Johnson all had an RBI each. Emmi Connor scored 2 runs, and Keeley Harris and Reese Boswell both scored 1 run.

Owensboro Catholic had a big 10-0 win over Henry County.
Catholic had a commanding start to the game as they scored 5 runs in the first inning. After gaining a decent-sized lead, Owensboro Catholic locked horns with Henry County for the next 5 innings with neither scoring a run. OCHS broke the deadlock with a big 5-run performance in the sixth inning to end the game 10-0.
On the mound was Hannah Robbins who had 6 strikeouts without allowing any runs across the 6 innings. At the plate, Lily Logsdon had 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Tyranda Stuart, Maren Riney and Graciie Dukate all had 2 RBIs and 1 run scored each. Ruth Jones hit a triple and scored 1 run, and Robbins and Dukate both hit a double as well.
