Brenda Gail Johnson, 71, of Owensboro, passed away March 28, 2024. She was born March 22, 1953, in Owensboro to the late Richard Earl Johnson and Mary Yates Johnson. Brenda was a 1971 graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School. She retired from Chase Bank where she worked for many years. She was a member of Blessed Mother.
Brenda was a UK athletics fan and enjoyed watching the games and cheering on the Cats. She was loving, generous, easygoing, patient, and faithful. She loved her family and spending as much time as she could with them.
Along with her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her siblings, George Earl Johnson, Phillip David Johnson, and Leon Johnson.
Brenda is survived by her children, Nathan (Jennifer) Johnson, David (Angel) Wiley, and Hollie (Paul) Berry; grandchildren. Logan (Gabrielle) Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Landon Johnson, Ulrich Wiley, and Thatcher Wiley; great-grandchild, Kennedy Johnson; siblings, Donny Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Carol Sue Crowe, Mary Ann Fouse, and Brenda Lynn Ramsey; and many other cherished family members.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. at Blessed Mother Catholic Church on Monday, April 1, 2024. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, April 1, 2024.
