Ressie Gwendolyn Renfrow Stewart, 84, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, with her family by her side at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 9, 1939, in Horse Branch, Kentucky to the late Willie Renfrow and Geneva Daugherty Renfrow.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Stewart and three sisters, Moina Jackson, Verneida Frame and Eura Lee Sorrels.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two children, Ricky (Ina) Renfrow of Baizetown and Angie (Billy) Christian of Hartford; Ernest Stewart of Fordsville, Wayne (Chigger) Stewart of Rosine and Brenda Hayse of Cromwell; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 24, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mrs. Stewart’s family from 3-7 PM Saturday and 10 AM until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
