Jesse H. Gross, Jr. age 87 of Irvington, KY passed away March 20, 2024 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on August 27, 1936, son of the late Jesse Harvey Gross, Sr. and Oma Lorene Johnson Gross. Jesse was a former employee of Brown and Williamson, who later followed his passion of farming. He raised tobacco, collected and sold auto parts, attended auctions, loved a good game of Scrabble, enjoyed reading and was an overall tinkerer.
Jesse is survived by his wife Gail Gross of Irvington, KY
2 daughters: Cindy Collins (Mike) of Bardstown, KY and Lisa (Clyde) Kennedy of Hardinsburg, KY
3 step-children: Jim Hayes (Lori) of Brandenburg, KY; Terry Hayes (Kay) of Flaherty, KY and Pam Fix of Rosetta, KY
5 grandchildren: Josh Dowell (Bev), Jesse Dowell (Shelley), Jessica Phillips (Charles), Matt Kennedy (Heather) and Luke Kennedy (Bethany)

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 2 PM with burial in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday. All times re central.
