Joyce Ann Robbins, age 69 of Owensboro, KY passed away March 13, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Brandenburg, KY on December 14, 1954, daughter of the late John Richard and Lena Frances Dowell Woods. Joyce was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Consumer Cable Satellite. Joyce loved shopping, especially thrift stores, swimming, horseback riding and family time.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight “Ike” Robbins and her brother Charles Ray Woods.
She is survived by 3 children: Craig Meredith of Bee Spring, KY
Kelly Michie (Chris) and Shelly Meredith of Owensboro, KY
6 grandchildren: Tamara, Halie, Dariean, Ashton, Lillian and Brice
3 great grandchildren: Kenslie, Eli and Harper
1 sister: Lucy Stogsdill of Piketon, OH
1 brother: James Alfred Woods (Wanda) of Louisville, KY
2 stepbrothers: Brian Keith (Nancy) and Brad Keith of Louisville, KY
Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Kingswood, KY on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, 3-7 PM and Saturday, 9 – 11 AM.
