Timothy Noel Jordan, 74, of Owensboro, passed away on March 10, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born August 13, 1949, in Carrollton, Illinois, to the late Mary Virginia Clep Jordan and Clifton F. Jordan, Sr. Noel is a Navy veteran and was a retired Pastor from Goshen Baptist Church. He was currently a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church.
Noel always had a sense of humor, even in the hard times. He never met a stranger and would tell everyone his stories and jokes. Noel also loved all animals.
Along with his parents, Noel was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ralph Morton, and sisters-in-law, Misty Morton and Sharon Jordan.
Noel is survived by his wife of 36 years, Darlene Morton Jordan; brother, Clifton F. Jordan, Jr.; mother-in-law, Retha Morton; sister-in-law, Tammy (Anthony) Stephens; brother-in-law, Rusty (Kristy) Morton; nephews, Austin Stephens, Logan Stephens, Craig Jordan, Chris Jordan, and Ceth Jordan; and nieces, Lauren (Tyler) Hundley and Allison Morton.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Michael Grant and Brian Elliott presiding. A meal will follow at Walnut Memorial Baptist Church.
